Renee Morhain is an artist who is very inspired by nature. She was born and raised in Alaska and currently lives in Anchorage with her family and her pug, Abby.

She enjoys spending time at her family’s cabin on Moose Creek in Trapper Creek, Alaska. There she develops many of her painting ideas, inspired by the surrounding pristine beauty.

Her dream is to create art that showcases the beauty of Alaska’s wilderness and share it with the entire world. She primarily paints with oils, although she has been painting with acrylics for over 20 years.

Renee has a deep passion to encourage others to achieve their artistic goals. She accomplishes this through one on one sessions with interested parties. In addition, she also holds classes to teach young children and adults. Art is transformative for individuals and restorative for communities. One of her most cherished memories is her first class of 25 people where everyone left with a painting and a newfound confidence in themselves.
